Annual report for 2017 of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia 09 May 2018
The Annual Report for 2017 of the Helsinki Committee for Human rights of the Republic of Macedonia presents the overall situation with the respect of human rights in several areas, including the judiciary, equal treatment, closed institutions, social justice and cohesion, vulnerable groups, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, free legal aid, and LGBTI rights. The report encompasses the established human rights violations, as well as a view on legal changes, policies and practices and recommendations towards the improvement of the established situations which are contrary to democratic values, the respect of human rights and the rule of law.
The report was prepared by the staff of the executive office and its publishing was made possible with the support of the institutional grant Civica Mobilitas.
